Greetings customers, friends, and followers.
Since today is Small Business Saturday, I wanted to pause for a moment and speak to you directly, mostly to thank all of you for supporting our effort to help women facing the challenges of breast cancer.
World Change Coalition started as a promise I made to my mom. After watching her face breast cancer with courage and grace for more than two decades, I promised her I would work to make the world a better place in her honor. Her fingerprint is on our logo, a personal and meaningful reminder that everything we do carries her spirit forward.
From that promise, we created Cathy's Jeans: stylish, comfortable jeans designed with functionality in mind including larger pockets to make daily life a little easier, providing space to carry a phone, credit cards, IDs, and other essentials. With every pair sold, 15% goes to fund cancer charities, including organizations that provide wigs to support women on their journey. That sustainable funding model is part of our innovation!
The World Change Coalition was a simply a vision and commitment at the beginning. There was no roadmap. There was definitely no guarantee that anyone would notice us, let alone pay attention to what we were doing. There have been moments when we were not sure we could continue. At those times, the faith of people that have connected with our movement sustained us. Thank you for that.
Small Business Saturday can sometimes feel like a marketing moment. For World Change Coalition, it is a day of gratitude. We are not backed by investors or a larger company. Our business is run by a small team that focuses on the mission, builds global supply chains, and pays attention to the most minute details, all because we believe there's more to business than profits.
The fact that a community has embraced our purpose and celebrated our message means more than I can put into words. Your support validates the belief that kindness and commerce can coexist.
We will unveil new products in 2026; all designed with the intent of making life better for women facing breast cancer. We will continue to be innovative. We will continue to focus on creating products that support women and fund worthy causes.
Thank you for being part of this journey. We are humbled and grateful, today and every day.
Love you always Mom and thank you. Richie
